High Court stops President Mnangagwa from renaming street after himself

he street was to be renamed Emmerson Dambudzo MnangagwaWay. The Ministry of Local Government and Public Works had through Statutory Instrument 167 of 2020 ordered municipalities in Bulawayo, Harare, Chipinge, Gweru, Masvingo, Bindura, Chegutu, Kwekwe, Mutare to have roads named after Mnangagwa, and several other suggested liberation personalities. Landlady daughter beat the tenant to death over an electricity bill misunderstanding. Police preliminary investigation revealed that on February 26, 2021, an argument, over the payment of electricity bills, ensued betweenthe duo which led to a fight. Magunje Police have arrested one Ms. Tinashe Shumba, for allegedly beating her mom’s male tenant to death, over electricity bills. Following the fight, the deceased had continually suffered severe pains, unfortunately, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at about 7 am while the deceased was being rushed to the General Hospital, he gave up the ghost.  The Policewere contacted and arrested the suspect immediately.
