A 13-year-old boy commits suicide over washing powder raw with his sister. Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the incident. A 13-year-old boy from Mushumbi Pools committed suicide after a misunderstanding with his 21-year-old sister over washing powder. “On March 6 around 0600hrs, at Gumbo village, Chief Chitsungo, Howard Kanyepa (13) was reprimanded by his sister Gracious Kanyepa (21) over washing powder,” Mundembe said. This angered Howard, who went to his bedroom hut where he took a bottle of cotton pesticide and went into a nearby bush where he drank the pesticide. Gracious alerted their father. A search was conducted and Howard’s corpse was found in the nearby bush.

Chaos as man kills brother using a family gun and buries the body in the backyard. According to the police, the suspect shot the victim with a firearm belonging to the family and then concealed the offence by secretly burying the body in a shallow grave within the yard. A twenty-one-year-old gospel artiste was on Thursday found hanging from a mango tree at a neighbour’s house in Whitecliffe. Father and son beaten to death over a donkey misunderstanding fight. Midlands provincial police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed the death of Helken Ncube and his son Khulekani from Mudzingwa Village under Chief Malisawho were allegedly assaulted to death by three brothers from the Moyo family over donkey theft. Instant justice turned fatal when two men were fatally assaulted for allegedly stealing three donkeys sometime in December last year. Inspector Mahoko said investigations were underway and suspects were in police custody. It is said that on February 28 at around 1700 hours, the now-deceased were at Bhaparara Business Centre where they were confronted by the Moyo brothers Lee, Moffat and Mpilo.
