2 killed in bus accident in Gwanda - Beitbridge road 👇Gwanda, Zimbabwe – A tragic road accident on Sunday night claimed the lives of two individuals on the Gwanda-Bulawayo Highway, approximately 10 kilometers outside Gwanda. The crash, which involved a bus and multiple smaller vehicles, occurred near the town, causing extensive damage and leaving wreckage strewn across the road.Eyewitness reports indicate that the bus sustained significant front-end damage, with its windshield shattered and parts of the frame visibly crushed. Another vehicle involved was almost unrecognizable due to the severe impact, with its front section completely destroyed, trapping passengers inside.

A fatal road accident on the Masvingo-Beitbridge highway involving a commuter omnibus traveling from Chiredzi to Beitbridge which collided with a large truck near Mwenezi, close to the Bubi area has left many hearts broken. "The matter of fact is that we did hire the vehicle in question (pictured below) to Chinoona on Sunday 27 October. The following day, Monday 28 October, he called to inform us that the vehicle had been stolen at a lodge in Mabelreign and he reported the matter to Mabelreign Police Station," the company said in a statement. "Upon investigations by the Vehicle Theft Squad (VTS), it emerged that Chinoona faked a robbery and connived with his friend to illegally export the car to Lusaka, Zambia and sell it there. "
